About Me:

After 2 years training in painting and decorating in the early 1990's, I established myself as a professional painter, when I took up a position with a private developer. I carried out many duties for the next 4 - 5 years which included, complete new build decoration and also restoration and refurbishment work of old Victorian and Edwardian buildings. I was also assisting with ceramic tiling and fitting UPVC among other aspects and became competent enough in this field of work to undertake the jobs myself. 2003 saw the start of direct contract and sub-contact work & I decided to form my own Company naming it W J Aldridge Painting Services. I consider my work to be of the highest standard. With new techniques, methods and materials we pride ourselves at adopting them and mastering these, we continue to develop our skills in all areas when these arise. We have recently purchased a cherry-picker lift for those high, hard to reach jobs This aids us in terms of Health & Safety and aids the customer in terms of savings as we have a much lower rental charge than traditional hire companies. We look forward to working for companies or individuals that wish to employ tradesmen that have pride in their work, who also wish to achieve high standards. We also boast a highly reliable & hard working team that have gained a good reputation along with being regarded as trustworthy.
